I'm looking into post-bacc programs as a backup if I don't get accepted into D.O/M.D. school. Isn't the whole point of post-bacc programs for it to be easier than medical school so you have a chance to bring up your GPA and prove your capabilities?
It seems that some of the post-bacc programs that I've looked into (e.g., Wake Forest, Columbia, Georgetown) are very competitive to get into. Can anyone shed some light on this? I have 3.4 GPA & 27Q MCAT. I would like to get into a post-bacc program if I don't get into school, but I'm not sure what my chances are at these more competitive ones. I'd love to go to the most rigorous program I can get into to prove myself to medical schools.
Thanks so much.
