Complaint about AADSAS- Please help

Please help.

AADSAS messed up my letters of recommendation. They uploaded the same letter under two different evaluation forms. My letters were all received and sent late August. I was informed in November about this mistake by a school. Now, AADSAS finally has the letters in order, but will not send them out because the person who fixed it did not note that the problem was fixed. I have been running around in circles with them and they are all so rude when I call. I am so upset because it decreases the quality of my application and leaves it incomplete at five of the schools I applied to.

Who can I complain to? I tried talking to the manager. They never call me back. I know it probably won't help me out at all, but this is absurd and I really don't want it to keep happening. Apparently, it is not the first time either:

Wow. That sucks 🙁. I don't have an answer for you but I feel your pain. AADSAS messed up my app too. They entered one of my semesters as "graduate" instead of "undergraduate". I did not catch the mistake until mid-September. Fortunately it didn't make a huge difference though. Anyway, if it wasn't your mistake, I really believe the schools will cut you some slack 😳. gl
 
Aadsas has a near monopoly on the application process (way to break free texas!), and as such, you have little to no recourse on this. They're judge, jury, and executioner.
 
I would demand my money back for an untimely response on their part. They're providing a service and failed horribly.

It seems as if your hands are tied, since AADSAS does monopolize the application process.

For anyone in which this unfortunate circumstance may happen to in the future, just bypass AADSAS for your LORs and send them directly to the schools. And inform the schools why you are doing this.

Thank you all for your responses. I wish I could demand a refund but I highly doubt that would ever happen. I have yet to receive an apology after dealing with this for so long. That is the problem with AADSAS and their monopoly on the system. There is no such thing as a "demand" or even a "request" even if it is simply asking them to do the job for which you paid.

To future applicants: I suggest you call AADSAS and check on every detail of your application. Even though I did for my letters, and yes they told me they are fine, I did not take it far enough. Tell the person to make sure all your letters are there and not just the cover letters. Tell them to check and make sure the signature on the actual letter actually is the name of the person on the cover letter. Don't assume that they check anything and make sure your application is correct. They don't. I even had an issue with my grades before all this happened but thankfully I was able to correct that. Don't feel like "Oh I don't want to bother them because they are so busy and I want to be nice." That is such a silly thing to think considering that if they mess-up your application they are going to be anything but nice and considerate of you.

They "misplaced" my transcript last year and were unable to process my application in time to submit it to schools- I got a refund. This year I have "re-applicant" status.. And they misplaced it again!!! WTF!?!?! I had to have my transcript overnight delivered last thurs. Someone of fri said they would "expedite" the processing.. I called in yest (Mon) and someone said it would be complete by the end of yest or sometime today. i call in today-- now they're saying it takes 5-7 DAY AND THEY CAN"T DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT?! Not to mention the fact that I demanded to speak with someone in depth about the issue.. This guy named Robert- in midst of my explaining to him the urgency of having this process claims there's nothing he can do but expedite the verification process AFTER the "scanning" process. Ok well if YOU can't do anything could you transfer em to somebody who CAN?!?! Ugh..
 
Last year they lost my LOR... 🙁 I found out really late and had to resend really late.

🙁 ... I am going through a similar situation.. I requested my transcript on June 9 and it hasn't been received yet. I emailed the customer service many times. At the beginning, they told me to wait 12 to 15 days and then after 12 to 15 days, I asked them again, the response became "please resend your transcript." I feel like they are just wasting applicant's time...

I had the same problem I sent my transcript on June 3rd n they "misplaced it". but I called them everyday n I got the please wait 5 days...then it was 5-7 days n then it was 7-10 days ...I got so frustrated I sent an email to the manager n called the same day ...I spoke with the manager n told him if I'm paying thousands of dollars n spending more money to expedite my transcripts what the hell are they doing on their part... He finally found my transcript n still took 2 days to recieve it.. Then I was told they would expedite my gpa calculations n that meant it would be done the same day...yah bunch of bs...I called them yesterday n it was finally done ..moral of the story be on top of them cuz they for some reason pick n chose who they want to finish n do everything out of order so ppl that applied after me n sent their transcripts after me got to Be in the first batch ...I'm still very upset about that but atleast I'll be in the second batch 🙂
