So i have been complete at Northwestern, Tufts, Cornell, NYU, and UVA for about 2.5 -3 months. I havent heard anything yet... is this a bad sign? Do these schools send invites to those who have been complete for awhile?

me too at Northwestern... remember.. they get TONS of applicants...

I'm still keeping my hopes up

UVA is usually pretty quick to respond if they are interested in interviewing you - usually in about 4 weeks. As for bad news, Dean Canterbury said that they send out the first batch of pre-interview rejections right before or after Thanksgiving, which makes for a morbid holidays greeting, but what can you do... 🙄 If you haven't gotten a thin envelope from them around now, I'd say it's a good thing. At least you're still being considered!

The other schools, I'm not so sure.

I'll second that. UVa is quick to interview and also quick to decide whether they like you...much to my chagrin.

No news is good news. If you haven't heard anything from them that means your application is still being considered. I'm freaking tired of opening the rejection letters. :meanie:
