1. I'm not complaining. I feel blessed to have received 6 IIs (and am at peace with 2 holds, and 2 rejections) thus far...


but I can only wonder, what about the other 15 schools that are silent? Are these silent rejections? I've noticed here on SDN, during conversations, and some other places that the II invitation process has died down a bit. Is it possible that these other 15 schools have silently rejected me....or do interview invites come in waves?

Probably a little bit of both. Every school has their own process. Some have probably silently rejected you, some you may get an II from later, and others may not have even reviewed you yet.
