I currently just quit my job as a pharmaceutical manufacturing lead, I began to see that I need to apply my self totally to this Pharmacy endeavor, I am currently enrolled at a 2 year technical college as I was attempting to become a pharmacy tech but yesterday learned that I did not need to go to school to become one. Well that's not even the start.... I am now in the crosswinds of confusion. The school is in the process if becoming accredited and becoming a regionally accredited community college. I have no idea in what my next move should be! Take my loses and move ahead? Wait until the accredidation process is complete and transfer to a 4 year university and complete a bs in biology? Transfer my current credits to another community college and go ahead with my prereqs there? I'm totally confused as which way to now go! Oh yea my grades in gbe sciences n math all the way up to cal 1 are As and Bs, I have an F in a computer class that I failed to drop.... Please guys direct me in the way of the best choice!!!! :xf:🙁

First off, what are your classes in? Are you in a tech training program or are you taking pharmacy school pre-reqs? If it's a tech training program, I seriously doubt those credits are going to transfer to a 4 year university and apply to a bachelor's degree. Pharmacy pre-reqs might, but your school's lack of accreditation could prevent them from transferring as well. If your plan is to ultimately transfer to a university, you should definitely contact someone at the school you intend on transferring to and find out if the credits from your current school will actually transfer.

Thanks so much for your reply, I see that it is venture to get someone to respond to a question as such. All of my classes are general ed classes such as Biology, Physics, English, Music Appreciation, Anatomy&Physiology,History, Psychology, Music Appreciation ect... I called the school that I plan to transfer to and to my luck they accept every class that I have taken so far, and also recieved news that in December the technical college that I now attend will be a full accredited community college....🙄 But I wanted to know how would this go over with Pharmacy schools, Will they look at my classes from the school that i am transfering to or will they want all of my prereqs, or will they just want to see that I recieved a BS in Biology? It is really confusing to me!! But thank you R2pharmD2!!!!!

They'll look at all of your classes, prerequisite and non-prerequiste.
Some of them might also require you have a bachelor's degree before you can apply.
What schools are you interested in? Check with their requirements on their websites to see what else you need, if you need a bachelor's degree, etc. But when you do apply, you need to send the transcript from every college you attended.
