It is true. All these surg path specialties are undefined. They are not acgme accredited and there are no standards for what a gyn fellowship is.

And look in some of those you can get two fellowships in one year (breast and gyn) and some you can only get one. Getting two fellowships in one year is a lot better deal than just getting one.

I think we can all agree that spending a year with Kurman or Crum would be awesome and you would learn like 10 years of pathology in one year.

I am merely putting together a complete directory for the benefit of those who are interested in applying for one of these fellowships. If they are foolish for wanting that, then I leave it to you to convince them of the error of their ways! 😉
