Complete - No Update for 6wks

OK I have been complete at a few different schools for at least 6 wks and I haven't heard anything from these schools. Should I call them or not???

SUNY Upstate
Albany
Toledo
RFU
EVMS
Maryland
MUSC

Now what I don't understand is I just received an interview invite from Vanderbilt and that was one of the schools I added only in mid September, the other ones listed above I added in August and was complete by September. I am excited about the Vanderbilt Interview but was curious as to why I haven't heard anything from these other schools. Any thoughts.

I think Vanderbilt interviews are given out with their secondary, so technically they didn't have to wait until you were complete (LORs, MCAT score, secondary received and logged, etc.) to review your app and send you an invite. That's probably why you heard back from them so soon. Ditto with schools like UMich and Pitt that give auto invites before you even have to submit those other materials. For the other schools, it will take awhile to become a complete, and in the meantime, they're backlogged. And anyway, it says on your mdapps you were only complete at EVMS in the end of September. Not even a month ago.
