Lol, before I got into a med school, they send me NOTHING. So I am so used to complete silence for month and month. And now, in one week's time since I got an acceptance, I have gotten at least 10 emails about congrats from student commitees, fiancial aid office, background chechks, student affairs office, alternative spring breaks, computer forms. It's kinda of crazy because my heart is so used to skipping a beat every time I get a med school related email. It feels so wierd to feel wanted and loved after been given the cold shoulder forever.

dude, its a good thing. I was the opposite. i started off getting emails like once a week....and now its totaly crickets, and if i get something, its probably just a rejection

sad.

Spam filter FTW.

Ever since I got accepted I put a filter up for anything .edu. Go directly to SPAM. Do not pass Go. Do not collect $200.

That sounds like an awesome idea...until they send you forms you need to print and return or information you want to respond to. 😉

Trexate became a fan of Sarcasm doesn't transfer well via text.

Oops! That one doesn't work terribly well since there is a TON of spam along with the occasional important stuff, and I only got one acceptance. I can't imagine dealing with, say, 5.

Sign....I wonder when the work is finally done.
When I finished my mcats, i thought the worst was over, then i thought the smae thing after primaries, seondaries, interviews, and now to tackle the beast of fiancial aid forces. just looking at the checklist makes my head spinn.

I like the spam. Reminds me I didn't dream up this whole thing. Unless I'm still dreaming. In which case I really need to expand my creativity.
