I just finished the DAT Today and got the following:

PAT 22
RC 20
QR 20
BIO 21
GC 20
ORGO 18
TS19
AA 20

I am trying to figure out whether I gotta retake it. I know these are generally good scores, but I am a returning Post Bac student who graduated in 2008 with a 3.0 GPA. I have been working since then as an Estimator/office manager for a construction company. I have also taken 30 credits of Post-Bac science classes to boost my GPA and I have about a 3.8 GPA in those classes. I know this isn't going to boost me up significantly, I did it mostly to show schools that I have re-assessed my goals in life and am making an effort to fulfill them. Is it worth it to retake the exam or will I benefit more from submitting my application early in June??

Thanks for the insight

Are you sure your TS is a 19 and not a 20. Because an 21 bio, 20 gen chem, 18 org averages out to 19.6667 basically a 20 TS. If you got a AA 20, TS 20, 22 PAT, with a 3.8 post-bacc GPA you my friend are definitely getting interviews. Apply early, to like 10-15 schools and your going to get interviews. Do you have shadowing experience?? Did you have other E.C. activities because that's important. But apply early and your in good standings. Good Luck.

It says 19 TS on my Unofficial Report. I thought that number looked off as well. I have 100+ hours of shadowing. As far as EC stuff. I actually taught abroad in Spain for two years and Worked in an Anatomy Lab at college one year.

TS is not an average of your sciences. It is decided by the number of questions you got right out of the total 100 questions. For example, my Bio was 22, GC 22, OC 25, but TS is still 22.
