I will be completing my MSW in just over a month, i've been working in the mental health/medical social work field for over 10 years. I'm not completely sure how I would transition into the pre med program and what I would need to do. After looking at some pre med BAS programs, I'm missing about 5 course, microbiology, organic chem, and chem. I'm graduating with a 3.72 and my Bachelors of arts was a 3.6. I understand I have to take these courses but are their any non traditional routes available to me?
The end goal is MD and i understand that piece is about 4 years not counting residency. My question is the Bachelors piece and what you'll recommend to be a good avenue in transitioning over.
