To those of you who have a PC/PS4/X360, you have to get Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. I have been playing it until 3 AM every night for the past 3 nights (much to the dismay of my wife). Even played with our esteemed Seaglass last night on Xbox Live, and I will say he is absolutely amazing with the use of C4....

Get it and play! I would even say it is better than Halo 3. I know, blasphemy.

I've played the demo, and quite like it. Don't have time yet for the full game (interviewing for jobs and all).

I'm surprised they were allowed to portray the terrorists as they do. Some of it could be considered insensitive.

That was a good round for me last night.

Also, Quinn's voice is pretty deep for a girl . . .

I hate being a poor, married with a child, med student. I "blew" my gaming budget with Halo 3 and preordering Mass Effect. I really want COD 4, but I can't. So many good games for the 360 coming out, so little money. I'm guessing intern year in 7 months won't help the time aspect.

Haha... you have a gaming budget?? I need one of those! 👍

well, not so much a budget as a "I feel guilty spending any more money and expanding my credit card debt" thing.

I think surgery residents can take this out of their educational budget, since it helps with laparoscopy skills. Also, a lot of these games feature trauma simulation, which is highly educational for them. Of course, they don't have time to play -- which is where we come in. Get a surgical resident for a roommate, like J.D. (Zach Braff) does in the early seasons of Scrubs -- well worth it.

Played the demo last night on the PC.

Its pretty sweet. The only thing I don't like is that the bad dudes just keep respawning over and over until you trigger a certain event.

I do like watching the barrets spin off the bad dudes' noggins with sniper head shots.👍

I'm good with COD4 for quite some time. With a 7 month old and a wife who stays home with him 80% of the time, its hard for me to get some good video game playing time in...

Plus I still have to play BioShock. I also have Guitar Hero 3 which I haven't played yet (but the wifey has). And ROCK BAND comes out soon!

finally got a hold of COD 4...wow is it different from halo. I thought I would do ok since I'm good with the FPS's in general, but I jumped in and played with some friends who are very experienced and some other people who were very experience and I think out of 6 or so games I was only out of the bottom 2 slots twice. ouch. i'm gonna have to play against some fellow n00bs. Or at least complete the single player

don't mean to hijack the thread but does anyone play Oblivion? I'm having trouble getting it to work on my PC even though I have a good graphics card and vista Ultimate. downloaded the patch and everything.

My response is of no assistance whatsoever, but I did play that game on my 360 and completely killed about 100 hours of my life. Worth every minute.

I finished that game in 2 nights of playing on the Xbox 360. I am working on GRAW2 right now.

By the way I am still playing COD4. By far one of the best multiplayer games I have ever experienced. I unfortunatly have logged over 140 hours or so on it... that stupid prestige is so addicting!!!!!

Much to my wife's dismay
.

I'm such a newbie at the game that I'm not addicted yet to the prestige thing. I have many friends that are into it though, and that is a poor prognostic indicator for me getting free of the game in the long run.

Best game ever!! I just moved back home with my wife and 3 week old son, so I have not been able to play for about a month!! Im going through withdrawal!!

I'm now splitting my time between COD 4 and Guitar Hero 3. Why is that game so easy to get hooked on? My hand is aching from it. I just couldn't stop playing.

Dude. GH3? Ever since Rock Band, I haven't played it. Honestly haven't even opened up many songs on GH3.

Rock Band has Faith No More! Epic!!!!!!!

"It's it... WHAT IS IT? It's it.... WHAT IS IT?"

awesome.

Spine tingly awesome.

I tried to get it, but they were out at BestBuy.
Maybe I can get a used copy.

I agree, I would be all about rock band, but I'm still on the med student budget. Sold several of my year 1 and 2 books to get enough cash to get used GH3 and the guitar.

Big selling point was it gave my wife a frame of reference for my gaming addiction. She wouldn't give up the guitar. My greatest triumph in the marriage.

What are the PC specs required for decent COD4 gameplay? I'm assuming a fairly decent video card and I'm just stuck with my laptop for now.

It's probably better anyway that I don't have a game system, wouldn't get anything done. After a test a few weeks ago a group of us went to a buddy's house and wasted the rest of the afternoon jamming out on Rock Band...... fan-freakin'-tastic! I'm actually a drummer in "real life" and since I've haven't really played since starting school this satisfied some of my need to bang on things with sticks.

GTA IV yall! ITS COMMING! I'll virtually hit all you dudes with a baseball bat then virtually intubate all you dudes in the liberty city hospital.

Got GT5 Prologue over the weekend.
Now I just need some cheat codes.
