Hi all,

I had a quick question about PT apps, so I'm pretty much finished with everything in terms of the application I just have to submit my GRE scores, which I have scheduled for early august, but since it's kind of late, will this hinder my chances of getting into a school? Should I work on everything and get ready from now so once I get that score, i just hit submit and be done?

Also, what are some other ideas of things I can use as extra curriculars, like would being a TA be one, ect.

Thanks!

I'm also having trouble reaching out to a PT clinic i did over 100 hours at, but they lost my paperwork and need me to pay 150 dollars to retrieve archives that they lost track of. How bad does it look if I check off "Do not confirm hours" because these guys seem like hard asses about it.

^^as for the confirm question, you only NEED to do this if the school requires it. I did not have any of my places confirm but that was OK for my schools.

For the "late" registration question: I took the GRE August 10 last year and received my scores the 20th. I submitted my apps the 31st and got into PT School Oct 15, December 21, and January 7.
I think that as long as you communicate with the schools that want GRE scores for early decision then you'll be fine. One school wanted me to TAKE the GRE before the ED date of August 31st and they didn't care if they received the scores in September as long as they knew that I made the effort do take it before the ED date.

When is it typically good to have applications in by? I'm not applying early decision, but several of the schools I'm applying to have rolling admissions... If I submit by the start of August, should this most likely give me a good chance?
