The Swedish Neuroscience Institute is now accepting 2015 applications for the Complex and Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery Fellowship. The fellowship offers a unique educational experience, combining both orthopedic and neurosurgical components into the curriculum. Swedish is a high-volume tertiary spine center that deals with deformity, trauma, tumors, infection, and spinal degenerative conditions. This particular fellowship places an emphasis on complex adult spine deformity including correction in the occipital/cervical, cervicothoracic, and thoracolumar spine. Specifically, individuals will gain exposure to the use of osteotomies in deformity correction, as well as how to utilize the anterior and lateral approaches for these conditions. For questions, please call Sue Thomas at 1 (206) 320-3782 or email [email protected].
