Hey,

I am looking at my KAPLAN OAT 2007-2008 practice book and trying to figure out how they do these scores.

In the back there is a chart that says COMPUTE YOUR SCORE and TOTAL SCORE but for the life of me I cannot figure out what the hell they are talking about.

Maybe because I have only done the practice tests and not the full tests yet, or maybe because I just got 6 out of 20 for quantitative reasoning...

can anyone give me a better description of how this works. I understand AA and TS but i dont understand how the raw score plays in....

Any words of wisdom will help.

I can take pics of the chart and post them for anyone wanting to see it... Just let me know

Matt

There should be a raw score that correlates to an OAT score for each section.

For instance, if you got 6 points for QR, that might translate to a 250.

if you go to opted.org and try their practice test, there's a score sheet at the end which gives you an example of how the tests are scored. Go by that example, and not Kaplan's because it's not as accurate.
