For those who take notes with your laptops/tablets in class, what program(s) are you using?

Primarily One Note 2003 SP1 running on Win XP Tablet PC 2005 (xp sp2).

For PDF annotations - Adobe Acrobat 6.02. Unfortunately there is no straight forward way to bring PDF's into one note.

For power point slides and other office documents / HTML pages, One Note is great. Also it has real time audio/video recording (with appropriate hardware) to supplement your notes.

Another great program is Mind Map by mindjet.com
It's old school note taking (on steroids) with circles for central topic branching off other sub topics. They have done an amazing job reviving the classic.

There is another program that some like - Gobinder 2005. I've used it but it hasn't grown on me yet. If your school participates in their blackboard, this may be more useful to you.

Good Luck,

I use Word, or type notes onto the powerpoints we downloaded before class.

One Note seems to be a good piece of software. I image how it works paired with a tablet pc...
