Thanks Inder, did you find that you had sufficient time to finish and check your answers for each section?
Thanks

Thanks Khurram, your post was helpful. I was wondering though, I was under the impression that at the end of the morning session you could go back and look over BOTH sections that you had done in the morning. Also, doyou have any word on recent CBT based exams as to how they are compared to the writen ones. The recent July 11 exam was extremely hard from what my friends tell me.

Thanks

Yeah I also heard that this written one a couple days ago was very difficult...to be honest I think they are getting more and more difficult by the day..but maybe then the curve will also be better...
we are gonnna have to wait and see what kinda scores people get...

No you can't go back over the morning sections after you finish both of them.

Thanks for the link Khurram! Since you took your exam last year, I was hoping someone who recently took the computerized exam recently would comment on the format, content difficulty, etc of the computerized exam. I am sure there has to be some of our cool members that are willing to give some insight.

Actually what I meant was, once you are at the end of the second morning section, can you check your answers for the first section and second section b/f you END the section for good.

Thanks

Took it yesterday. MicroPath and BioCh/Physio was way too tough. Hope to pass. Will post score. Does anyone know what the passing raw score approx would be for BioChem/Physio. I have herad the swing curve is pretty easy for this section normally. Like if one gets 40 right, that would translate to 75% required for passing. Am having my fingers crossed. Good luck people.

Hi khurram

my exam is on 18th..i jus wanted to know if i have marked an answer wrong and want to change it before i go to the next subject , can i do it????

[yes u can . even u can go in between morning session say between anat and physio /biochem. then in the end u can also revise everything . they also have mark feature say u r not sure about ananswer u can mark a answer and then when u r done all the marked ones show up so u can check the answers. also u can unmark the answers. when they check ur answers mark and unmarked r same to them.
ok take care
good luck

biochem was tough.

you get to take 2 parts at a time. mark questions for later review. and you can review them all if you like (if you have time). i noticed 10% repeats and very similar to last years. of course there are those questions that u will never be prepared for.

Thanks both of u!!! 👍

Just wondering... how did you prepare for your exam? I am sure you did decks and old questions, but what other material did you find helpful. Also, did you feel prepared to take the cbt, especially since the review materials were basically made to test for the paper version.

Could you recent computerized exam takers give some insight to what the test was like and how you prepared for it, thanks!

there isnt much of a difference. same questions and types. list of types is exactly as it reads in NBDE application booklet. make sure to cover all areas listed. some repeats from old exams. some are from info on the decks. some new ones.
