I just thought it might be a good idea to make a list of hospitals who utilize computer order entry systems. I'm currently doing a rotation at a hospital that uses a system like this, and it seems like it makes the residents' lives way better than if they had to run around looking for paper charts to write orders on. On the same token, maybe we can also make a list of places that have computerized systems for checking labs (although I imagine most places have this now).....I'll start with two that I know of.

Guthrie/Robert Packer Hospital

There are places that exist without a computer system for checking labs? How do you get the labs? Are then sent in the pneumatic tube? Carrier pigeon? Telegraph?

One of the local EDs just converted to CPOE and EMR, the other local ED which is the largest in the state has CPOE also though not all floors at that same hospital have CPOE. Charts still on paper.
