Firstly, let's make this a sticky if there's a ton of good responses!
So I searched all the old threads regarding the OAT. There's a ton of good info about which books to use for practice tests, but I'd like to know what you used for a concept review. It's been about 4 years since I took physics and chem so I definitely need a solid foundation. I was hoping to take the exam in late November and will reschedule if absolutely necessary. In any case, I would like to know.
1. What did you use for a review - your textbooks, your notes from classes, your textbooks + notes, a published book full of concepts (like Kaplan's MCAT prep, etc) or other. What did you score as a result of your preparation (please include the score and length of studying (in days/months and how many hours a day you studied))
2. What supplementary practice tests did you use, if any (ex: OAT destroyer, etc).
3. I know the OAT program guide includes the topics that will be on the OAT-- https://www.ada.org/oat/index.html -- but I have no idea what depth to study them in. For example, should I read my class notes (that are more bare) or should I get my old textbooks out and read each chapter of a topic, etc. Is there a more comprehensive topic review anywhere else or in a book of some sort?
Thanks so much! Sorry if you've answered this a million times already.
