Concepts of Biology count in my Science GPA?

Okay I took a class my freshmen year of college called "Concepts of Biology." I was told I didn't have a high enough SAT score to jump right into Bio (wierd, I know). However, I did get three credits and I got an A. I was wondering if this will count toward my Science GPA when applying to pharm schools. Thank You.
