Step II concerning tx of mastitis

Crush step 3 says d/c breastfeeding while tx mastitis, while Strong Medicine
says continue breastfeeding. What do you-all think?

According to what I've read, you actually want to encourage breast feeding b/c it prevents further occlusion of the lactiferous ducts (which would worsen the mastitis).

Agreed. I took step 3 recently and used Crush to study...I remember seeing that statement and thinking it was wrong. Everything else I've read and heard has said to continue bf. And I actually had a ? about this on the test, so I better be right.
