Hello everyone, I am a freshman in college and I am having troubles deciding which degree I should pursue, after 4 years of school I have hopes of attending Dental school but right now I dont know whether I should study dental hygienists and then advance to Dental school, or whether I should major in Biology. I talked to the U of Minnesota Dental school advisors and they said most students usually get a bachelor degree in Biology or biochemistry (something in the science area), so my question is would it be better of if I majored in biology or should I stick with dental hygienists and then advance. The reason why I ask is I heard from others that usually during dental school interviews they ask students why they didnt stick with dental 100%, they want to know if you doubted yourself. Also, I want to know if anyone in here has gotten a bachelor degree in dental hygienists and then advanced, or is everyone in here getting a bachelor degree in the science area and then going to dental school. Thanks for helping me answer this question.
