I am not a typical science major, so chem/ochem is naturally hard for me. I recently finished chad's videos on chem and ochem because I heard they were the best to prepare for the DAT. However, now that I am finished with chad's video, I have been tackling the DAT destroyer for practice. When I am going through the problems, I am getting a lot of them wrong or I just have no clue what the answer is. I am panicking because my scheduled DAT test date is in a month. What should I do to get good at ochem and chem within a month? Going through the destoyer just make me realize how unprepared I am, unless the actually DAT is nothing like that?

People normally don't do very well first run through (most miss 30-50% of the questions I've heard), so don't be too worried about that. One user here got like 60% of them correct his first run as well and only studied for a month. He got a 26 (this is probably not very common though). Search up jimmpanzee or something and you can maybe try out his study schedule

Ya, don't worry about how many questions you get wrong your first time through destroyer. I don't think its a good way to gauge how well you will do on the DAT. Instead, treat destroyer as another learning tool and as a way to spot your weaknesses (calorimetry, base ranking, stoichiometry, etc.). I think destroyer is actually your best bet at getting better and chem and ochem fast. Good luck to you, you got this!
