has anybody received their confirmation for a slot in the may 2-4 2003 restorative technique exam for california yet?

do you think they will only cash your check if you are in the exam?
my friend said that they will take your money no matter you are in or not...:-(

my concern is that they wouldn't tell how many people there are who have priority in this exam, so imagine, if there are 300 of them applying for may exam, none of the rest gets a single chance to be in the exam, and if they will cash all applicants' money, we are just filing for donating money....


I haven't got a word from the dental board either.

The dental board of California is acting very strangely recently..

this year there was no exam in feb.

the filing timetable for may exam was annonced very late...


does anybody have explanations,as they r playing with our nerves..

and i can't understand why.. is it a proplem of organization ? or is it intentional.. i wonder !!🙂

i dont know why they are acting so strangely. they should be more considerate of the people who are applying for the bench test and they should have released the confirmation cards or rejections earlier so that we can all prepare, or go on with our lives.

i havent received a confirmation or rejection either, but i know of someone who has already received a confirmation, so my hopes of taking it this may are slowly diminishing. what i do believe though is that they will return your check if you do not have a slot.

anybody who has received their confirmation/rejection, please let us know so we may be guided.

It's so amazing to be not warn earlier about the acceptation on the exam.
I called yesterday the board to know my position .They don't want to tell it by phone.Even i 'm an out of state dentist and will received by chance , if registered 😕 , at the end of next week.They said the card is send by express mail for living outsiders.
The only speed way is the email , i have forgotten to ask them.Does anyone do that ?
Whether an out of state has received his card , may he or she tell us because the suspens will ending.

I blieve those who already got their confirmation cards are those who have priority for this exam...

unless there are 300 of them, and they are actually the only people who are taking this exam....

I heard something about this exam. There are 960-970 applicants for this exam. 100 of them have priority. For other 145 available seats we have 15% chance. And i heard some strange things . There is an applicant who has priority was rejected and one of my friend received her conformation for exam although she doesn't have priority and sent her application by mail.

THe dental board told me there are 1017 applicants.....
so does anyone get any rejection card? or other first time applicants who have received confirmation?

why was the person who has priority got rejected?

I think by now, if you don't get anything, you are not in the exam, of course, that applies to me too....

my reply might be too late for the topic .. but to my information i have 2 freinds back in LA ..one received the acceptance on April 14, 2003 and the other on April 19, 2003 ..

i havent received anything yet ..so i guess i havent been accepted ..
