Hey all,
Quick question. I made my list of programs that I want to apply to in ERAS, and as I was going through those programs websites, I was finding that very few programs websites actually specifically commented on a requirement of passing Step 2 CK/CS before they would rank an applicant. I saw a few other threads like this in other specialties, but none for a PGY-2 specialty like radiology. My school only requires that Step 2 only be taken before graduation, and considering my schedule this year, I am aiming to take both parts in late Feb or early March, too late for a pass/fail to be reported to programs before finalizing rankings. Does anyone who has previously applied have any input on this? A few websites say they require Step 2 be passed before showing up as a PGY-2 for radiology, but thats obvious. Are there programs which anyone knows about which require a documented pass before they rank you? Thanks for any input anyone has!
