I don't know if the fees listed in the ADEA Guide to Dental Schools are primary or secondary fees, and furthermore, when and if I am supposed to send the fees directly to the respective dental schools. I have already submitted my application.
For example, in the Guide, for ASDOH, it says "Amount of fee for application: Out of state: $70"..........then it says on the same page "Secondary or supplemental application required: Yes"............
but on the AADSAS application website it says
"Send these materials directly to the dental school Only When an Admission Officer Contacts You:
Secondary application, due January 31
Secondary application fee $60"

I don't know what I am supposed to pay, and if I am supposed to pay the schools now or later...I am confused on distinguishing between what is a primary fee and what is secondary/supplemental.

I just looked at the 2011 guide and it doesn't say anything about a $70 application fee. It only mentions a secondary fee of $60. You pay this when they contact you probably by email. I don't think there are such things as primary fees to schools, only secondary application fees.

Hmm...check it out in the 45th edition (the newest one). It is in there.

Just go to their website and look, if you can't find it google "X dental school supplemental" and it'll usually bring up the page
