I applied to 35 schools...I sent out my last primary on 8/26. Completed secondary on 8/28. 9/1 I got an interview invite.

Obviously, I'm very happy and feel blessed and fortunate to have even one interview invite...but why have schools that I applied to MUCH earlier in the cycle not responded back?

Some schools process applications faster than others, some might have processed your application but don't want to interview you yet. A lot of schools will interview their more competitive applicants first, and go down the list from there. If you're not considered very competitive, you might have to wait for a while to hear back from those schools.

Patience is a virtue. Many people are on the same boat.

Admissions and application review is simply not done in chronological order

If you don't mind me asking, what are your stats?

Last year my app was complete in early August with most of my secondaries sent out by September, the last one in late October.

My final interview invite came in February.
