Hi, everyone:

I was wondering if anyone can tell me about usc's admission procedure post interview? i received a email saying that all the post interviewer are put on waiting list until they are reviewed by admssion staff. Dose that mean that I am officially not being accepted but on the waitlist, or does that mean I will be reviewed and then they will determine acceptance or not? I am a little confused.

You are still being considered for acceptance.

I am pretty sure all it means is that if you were considered for an interview, that means you automatically qualify for the waitlist (at a minimum), and that if the class is not full by the time they review the people interviewed on your interview date, then you will be considered for admission.

At that point, you will be either accepted, or remain on the waitlist, and continued to be reviewed.

yeah, dont worry about that, I was confused too when they told us at the interview but its because USC accepts their students at certain times durring the month. Therefore, whoever has interviewed is put on the waitlist until that acceptance period arrives. Then you are either accepted or remain on the waitlist.

Does anyone know the ranking on the waitlist? If you ranked very low on the list, does that mean you wouldn't have chance to get in the acceptance file? I would appreciated if anyone can tell me how many people are they going to interview since Eva said USC would continue of their interview process through late May. Thanks

During my interview, Eva said USC will interview 450-500 people. I don't know how many people they will accept to fill out 144 seats, but someone in the forum mentioned that USC will accept around 300 people.

Hi guys

I applied to USC quite late. AADSAS sent them my application on Feb 11th and when I asked USC regarding the status of my application, I think it was a week before last week, they told me it's under review. I e-mailed them again last week, asking how it's going and haven't heard anything yet.

Assuming I am qualified, do I have a chance of getting an interview sooner or later? USC deadline is March 1, but I am just worried that the class is already full or they are too busy considering those who had interviewed earlier.

will they still invite me for interview?

If you search the previous posts in the forum, USC will keep interviewing students until May. As you said you believe you are qualified, there is no problem for you to interview and get accept by May. The next acceptance batch will be sent in the middle of March.
