Hey guys I'm a little confused about what to expect on the actual exam... I keep seeing people posting here saying the Uworld interface is "exactly the same" as the real exam, but based on the NBME I just took it seems totally different? What can I expect on test day?

Differences from what I could tell:

1) No "question list" on the left side
2) Different mechanism from crossing out an answer (no right click in Uworld, have to right click through it?)
3) No ability to "review" or review marked question in a review screen at the end in Uworld...

Again, I'm not complaining UWorld is great but I am confused as to how people think it is anything like the online NBME form? Or maybe my copy of UWorld is just messed up? lol!? What will the real exam be like? Thanks!!!!!!!

Yes. The online NBME is based on the older version of FRED software, V1. UWorld is based off V2, which is what they use currently. The "free 150" questions uses the current software and you'll see its exactly the same as UWorld.

I took the exam. The software is exactly like UW. The calculator's there too. Nothing's different.

Ah boo, lol. I kind of liked the NBME style better... I like the idea of right-clicking to cross off an answer vs having to left click and drag... seems easier that way... although I guess the idea of having all your "marked" questions visable at the left is pretty nifty
