confused when to apply

i am really split on when to apply ... i have an attempt in my cs exam and now i am waiting for my results....rest of my profile is pretty decent for peds with research, publications and observerships in good places...my results are coming out on oct 3... but i am thinking if that will be too late to apply...


any suggestions any one?

Apply now. But do not automatically retransmit your USMLE transcript. That way, if you failed, no one will know and you can take it again. However, when the programs find out by the time they do their rank list it will probably hurt, if you failed.

If you're IMG some programs may require a passing score before they even interview you. So again it really doesn't hurt to just not transmit the scores now and release it when it comes in.
