confusion about app...

So my application, DAT score, and 2 LORs are in... I am currently waiting on my last LOR to be submitted..
ok, this is where this gets confusing.. so IU and Columbia requires 3 letters but they haven't contacted me about getting my third one in. IU emailed me (about 2 weeks ago) about missing my DAT score (i took it Aug 12 so it is finally getting in) so I called them yesterday and asked about the status of my application and the lady told me I should have gotten an email if I am missing anything. Well I'm confused because I've gotten an email about my DAT score but not the missing third letter. I'm still having my prof send in the third letter but I just don't know what's going on. lol As for Columbia, I checked on AADSAS and it says application received/complete...
so my question is something along the lines of .. do they need the third letter before granting an interview/decision or did they just not get to looking at my letters yet? 😕

Indiana Sent me an invite email when I only had 2 LORs. They also told me then that i was missing something. I called them to have them check my file and then the lady told me I was missing a third LOR. She told me to get it in before my interview.

yes, my professor finally submitted the LOR on Sept 10. They schools should have received it like at the end of Sept. I got an interview invite from IU but it won't be until next year since the fall interviews are full. I haven't heard from any other school yet 🙁 trying to be patient though!
