I am confused on the types and locations of a few of the books that are listed on some of the threads.

Schaums, Campbell etc....I have searched Barnes & Nobles website and there are quite a few Campbells books listed. And I can not even locate the Schaums. I found Cliffs as well as some interesting flash cards that look promising.

I previously used Barrons but found it to be 😴 and am looking at trying one of the favorites within these threads.

Could someone..............anyone indicate which Campbells Bio is referenced? What about Schaums?

try half.com or amazon for used stuff, should be able to find whatever you need. I think Campbell's "Biology" and Schaum's are the best for biology. Any edition works. For biology, the more details the better, and do the practice problems in the Campbell: I had some DAT questions that looked very familiar.

How much time before your DAT? If it is 2 months or less I advice not to study from Campbell. Use AP Cliff's or Schaums instead and do practice problems from Kaplan/Achiever/Topscore/DAT Destroyer. If you really must find a reference for something that you cannot find on wikipedia then go to a bio text book (if you have one.) There is more to the DAT than the biology section but if you can get a Campbell textbook for cheap online then go for it.

Wired. Thanks for the info. I have taken the DAT previously but did not give myself sufficient time to prepare and thus am taking the test again. I have given myself 4-5 months to prepare.

There are a number of reasons for giving myself such an extended amount of time this go around. I won't bore you with the small details. Suffice it to say that I do not want to take it a third time :boom:.
