Congrats on getting into LLU! I'm still hoping to see you at VCU next year though!

Use LLU to your advantage. Call up VCU and tell them, "You besta gimme a scholarship with that acceptance letter!"

Well, Dr. healy just asked me yesterday if I had gotten accepted anywhere yet, and I truthfully answered no. If I let them know I got accepted somewhere, they may think that I don't need the acceptance to vcu and then not send me one! I'm just going to keep my (non-internet) mouth shut until friday or so. We'll see what happens!

I also got on the waitlist for UoP.

Human psychology's the opposite of what you suggested. We want what we can't have. If we can have it, we don't want it as much. I'd tell VCU about it. But be subtle. Maybe email them and ask them on whether admissions has met recently, because you want to know whether to accept another school's offer. I'd showed no regrets in letting a school know I've gotten better.

...I'm sure that this was a huge relief for you and I wish you the best of luck! BTW, that email that you just got from Healy sounds like you are in for sure. Would you go to VCU if you get it? We'd miss you if you don't. Anyway, time to CELEBRATE!!!:meanie:​

You know, there were a lot of people rooting for you here on SDN including me and you totally deserve it.

VCU is an awesome school but you know Loma Linda is none the less. 🙂

CaCaCaCaCaCurry you da man! And forget about those busters at Midwestern. I think the worse your stats are the more likely you are to get an acceptance there. So yeah, yours are way too good! The Midwestern people are somewhat strange.... I don't know how you can be cocky when you don't even have a building, a graduate, or any precedent of producing good dentists. Also, did anyone else find it strange that at the Midwestern interview you got a lecture on bird conservation (maybe this was only my group). Anyways, I'm glad I won't be going there, but best of luck to all of you that are. Congrats again man!

They haven't, really. I just have my BS now and finished some good classes, but my overall GPA was the same and I didn't retake the DAT. Big difference was this year I applied in May instead of August.

Geez, only took 9 months to get an acceptance!

I'm confused - so since last year you not only obtained a B.S. but also did post-bacc classes? BTW I MAY be dropping my seat at VCU and at this point every one matter! I hope its yours!

Thank goodness, I thought I was alone. It was strange the whole time...I was sitting there thinking, "am I the only one who doesn't care about what he is talking about".:laugh:
