Congrats to the newly minted attendings who just got (or will be getting) their very first "real" paycheck as an attending. You deserve it, and you earned every penny with your years of sacrifice, hard work, and delayed gratification. Don't ever let anyone make you feel like you don't deserve it, or didn't earn it, including a malpractice lawyer, an employer, administration, the government, someone who didn't work as hard or an ungrateful person.
