Surprising to have 11 unfilled spots with >100 unmatched applicants. Suggests that the fact that everyone is overapplying (average of 70 programs per person) hurts everyone because programs are likely interviewing the same applicants who may or may not be particularly interested in that program.

Would probably be in everyone’s best interest to have a limit on the number of programs everyone can apply to.

Definitely see a lot of overapplying and over-interviewing. It's getting a bit out of hand.
