how bad would it be for me to ask someone who didn't match to post the locations of the 24 spots that didn't fill? against the rules?

Does anyone know if I matched into a 2-4 program, if my result would have said you matched into PGY1 and PGY2 spot?

I dont want to make it sound like I am not excited that I matched, because I am excited, but I just wanted to know if anyone knew the answer to this.

How do you know how many spots are open?

Browsing other specialty threads trying to find this answer....from what I've seen so far, they don't distinguish whether or not you matched a pgy1 or a pgy2 + transitional/prelim.

My #3 is a categorical....I REALLY want to know where I matched!
 
I put a prelim at #14, so I guess that is in the back of my mind but prolly not likely. At least Ill tell myself that until thursday.
 
Log into NRMP web-site, click on "My Reports" - it'll show how many unfilled spots there are in each specialty.
 
It actually only shows 22 unfilled spots when I log in...

I'm in! To a 2,3,4...how do I know? Cos I have to scramble for a prelim or a TY tomorrow...kinda puts a little bit of tarnish on the overall feeling, but what the hell! I'm gonna be an EP!!! And with a gazillion unfilled TYs out there, I'm bound to get in somewhere based on my good looks...what? they look at the academics? Damn...

Congrats to all those who made it this year! Looking forward to Thursday!

Congrats everyone. Unfortunately I have to scramble. YUK. I should have applied to more programs and prelim programs. Wish me luck!
 
He should have never called - you or any of the other applicants. Likewise, you should have never told him. Hmmm, I smell match violation...

EDIT: I guess in my disgust for the entire match process I forgot my true manners. Good luck with the scramble Wick!
