I spoke with a friend in the admissions office. She said if you have not recieved an acceptance by now you are probably not going to. She said "they have had a very good response to their offers." Oh well, now my choice is easy...

there is no reason to yet. They might as well hold on to the applicants until summer. I am sure some people will be getting them soon. Others will go on a waitlist... never to get off!

Hum. Interesting. Especially since my interviewer told me that I was in for sure. And yes, he said it outright. He then said, "You will get into any school you want to. We just hope you choose ours." He didn't ask me a single question during the interview. Just spent the whole time trying to convince me that UCONN was the school for me. I know that just because an interviewer says that, it doesn't mean much, but come on. They will get a nice letter of complaint from me so that hopefully that problem will be avoided in the future. It's just not very nice . . .

That's funny - I just got off the phone with my friend in the admissions office and found out that UCONN will not know the total number that accepted their offer until the 16th of January. Also, they have only interviewed for 20 out of 40 spots. I'm afraid your friend may be giving you bad info. Hang in there all of you late applicants - there is still hope and UCONN will be conducting interviews through March too.

I hope you are all admitted. Honestly fatman... I hope it works out. She might just be making it all up... and didnt want to say YOURE NOT ACCEPTED! Sometimes it is easier to make the excuse that the school is full than telling someone straight up youre denied.

I really doubt schools would be giving out that kind of "inside" information. If someone did it would be extremely unprofessional and would probably cost them their job.

This is funny. I guess Tricia Avolt might lose her job then. You can all think it is a lie... I hope it is. But dont be surprised if it is not. Uconn is filling up fast.
