There are things that happen to almost every player most games.

Well ****. Sorry lotf. I do take full responsibility for this. Look into me tonight, Lynch me tomorrow, whatever you all feel like. I'll try and see if I can get any answers tonight about how items are working/not working.

Agreed. I am with dvmd on this - I'll take 75% odds any day. It was the right lynch at the time, even though in retrospect it wasn't.

MY feeling - obviously not shared by you and probably also others - is that the ability is just too dangerous. Let's say you are a villager. Fine. You agree NOW that you won't f with our votes. But down the line? When we get in some clutch lynch vote and you strongly feel one way or the other? Or when someone gets bandwagoned and appeals at the last moment with a "omg don't lynch me I can rez/protect/seer"? I'm not confident votes won't get f'd with then.

Add on top of that the part where I think you are more likely chaos with some other win condition, AND the part where the only evidence I have about your ability not going with you if you are converted is you saying so.....

Shrug.

Just tired. I had a very long day of running surgery. On the plus side, 32+ free spays and neuters for a trailer park full of low income people whose animals have not seen a vet in a very long time. This was the 3rd one. We also do free Rabies and Distemper for them. Apparently it is partially covered by a grant from Banfield. The rest is from community donations. Really cool stuff. (And there are now 3 fewer crypt chihuahuas out there, 1 less bilateral inguinal hernia, 6 fewer deciduous teeth...just from today)

But nearly 7 hours of straight high pace/ low rest surgery and 12.5 hours of work can really take it out of you!

I see your point, i just disagree. I said i wasn't going to use the ability and i won't. Not saying you could trust me not knowing my affiliation, but if you knew i was a villager i think there would be good enough reason to trust me on that. What you're describing is just not my style.

The thinking i could be chaos and such is valid. The role felt like that to me when i got it. Mods tell me it was originally designed as neutral then made village because of balance issues. It seems, to me at least, like affiliation was the only thing that was changed so i don't blame you for thinking thats what the role is.

Last night was especially interesting for several reasons.

We start off with the devious one from the night before. Their plot had failed last night in blowing people up, but this time, they were sure that they would get the explosion they wanted. The devious one immediately started reprogramming and came up with a perfect plan. Instead of making the explosion happen only IF they do an action, she would reprogram them to blow up regardless. And on top of that, anyone who interacted with said program would blow up as well! The devious one was so proud of their work that they wished to watch it in person.

Even though they watched their target all night long, no one came and interacted with them, not a single program. "This is ridiculous, at least you will die tonight." The person activated the bomb that was programmed in. There was an explosion...... But what? The program was still intact?

"Are you ****ing kidding me?" The devious one was pissed. "Oh, tomorrow night, the villagers will pay. Oh yes, the villagers. Will. Pay." Maniacal laughter could be heard off into the distance.

We then moved on that night to our friendly neighborhood virus, who has been wreaking havoc over the last few days. Tonight, they had set their sights on one of the most important people in the game. You guys may recall that a certain player always has their trusty spreadsheet by their side in their crusade against the wolves. Well, the excel spreadsheet program had been keeping close tabs on everyone in the game. In fact, they were about to nab a guaranteed wolf..... Until the virus came along.

"Yeah, I can't really let you figure out that it's me unfortunately..... So, we are just going to have to take care of you... Now hold still for a second." The virus went and deleted all of the rows and columns, making all of the information from the spreadsheet fall down into a clump of useless information. Next, the virus decided deleting the program wasn't enough. She left the program intact, but now every time someone attempted to open the program for use, it would appear with "This program has stopped working. Check online for solution." And then when they attempted to check online for the solution, a giant cartoon rabbit would bounce across the screen saying over and over again "You lose. You lose. You lose."

Dead is guisantes, Excel Spreadsheet, Villager

In other news, another program was uninstalled today, but still seems to be on the computer somehow. I am sure more will be figured out about that later today....

Oh and finally in other news welcome back two of our old friends, Heyimhayley, and Genny. The look a bit.... Undead..... I am sure that's not an issue at all and we should all just carry on with the usual!

It is Day 8. Deadline is set for 9 pm es. There are 22 players left in the game and an NPC.

Actually that's a little interesting because I think I was also redirected to myself. I'm still trying to interpret this though because I think my night involved two separate actions.

Hmmm. Interesting. Maybe there is a redirecting ability in addition to the item.

One quick thing that i learned...items have a 1 in 4 chance of doing the opposite of what they're intended to do. Seems we got lucky with pbc being chaos but just keep that in mind for the future.

Hi there everybody, I'm the sub Allieh was talking about yesterday and I'll be taking over for her from here on out for this game. I won't be able to post more until a little later today but either way, put me in coach!
 
Anyone else thinking all the bombs sound a lot like Minesweeper?

I see that genny has been added to the undead list. If we're lacking on a good lynch candidate today, genny might make a good test of the undead list mechanism since we know what her original role and ability were.
 
We need to find whoever is reviving the programs, they are probably chaos. Someone mentioned it before but it is very similar to the Skeleton Army that never really got anywhere in one of STL's other games. I doubt killing those undead programs will do anything but waste time.

Yeah I was the one to mention it because I remember kinda following that game as it was going way back when, and this seems very similar. Do you remember what the Skeleton Army was supposed to do/how it worked?

I also don't think we are going to get anywhere by lynching one of them. The only way to stop it is to find the source.

I don't remember much since MJ killed the player who was creating the army so quickly. Gonna see if I can find out.
 
Here's the description for that role. If I remember correctly his army died with him when he died.

Sorry I disappeared right before lynch guys. I started a new job yesterday. So upon catching up either today we lynch WZ or bbc. Which one are we going for? Or can we only do contingeny for WZ?

Ooo. I don't know. And reading back through I'm honestly tempted to get on the the finnick bandwagon.
Because this is nagging me, does anyone remember a few days ago when lotf posted something along the lines of "I have info that could lead to a lynch will post later" did she ever do that on that day and I missed it? Or was it the BBC information that she just withheld for some reason until yesterday? If I can get these two questions answered I'll lynch Finn.

BBC knew that ash was the tracker. Ash told LotF that if she died, it was the fault of BBC. On top of that, LotF had suspicions and got lynched yesterday. I think we need to get rid of BBC now

That wasn't quite the reasoning, since I died looking into her that same night and not afterwards.

If we don't lynch BBC, will she just die later, like a delayed death since she is already installed?

I was going to wait to vote until we got more info, but I'm going to miss this lynch because from now until like forever I'm going to be in surgery ( :scared: ) so for now lynch BBC
 
I received the flash drive item last night, which let me download a player's history from the night before I received the flash drive. I used it on @Teepster87 and
