I respect that your open and respect people. However i do believe that Christians do possess a certain cultural quality of Savages and barbarians. In reality there are no such things as savages and barbarians, its a horrible mistake. There are simply different types of culture and people.

I once talked to a pastor for a interview. I asked if tolerance is a part of Christianity. He said that tolerance is simply not a part of Christianity, we have a specific right and wrong and all others must be pestered or forced to change.

I believe you can have a opinion, and thats cool. But people need to respect others lives and that way people will slightly live better. I think that you respecting others and not trying to judge is the whole point of the gospel of jesus. Cuz really the most important things he said was love god, and try to not judge others cuz your not perfect/sinless either.

As Christians, we are called to love our neighbors, no matter who they are, even if we disagree with everything they do. Yes, many Christians do an absolutely horrible job at this, and it's unfortunate, but it is still what we are commanded to do. I am curious as to how many Christians you know on a very personal level, because it sounds like you have the impression that they are hateful people, and I promise you that this is not the case. No one will convince you of anything via an online forum, but I would hope that you are able to meet and become friends with one someday who will show you otherwise.

My best friend is a christian. But my lack of religiosity has rubbed off one her a little bit.. Actually now that i think about it i dont know many non-religious people.. However all the religious people i know arent very fevorous and dont really care all that much about religion. They view it simply as a part of there culture which can change.

And no the general concensous is Christianity isnt a very tolerant religion lol... and im sure theres got to be something propelling things like the inquisition.

I have to say that i personally i really dont care if your religious or not religious. As long as your a good person and dont try to force your ideaology on me then its fine. But i will just say that people need to respect each other and open there eyes to reality. Because both sides, republicans and demacrats fail to see the truth.

People like to think that being a moderate/centrist means they are a libertarian. In reality they independents and just want the name of a actual party to back them up.

Ron Paul is not anti-choice. He is for the states to decide what is best for them, as New York and Georgia would probably yield different outcomes. Mike Huckabee was anti-choice, as he wanted a federal amendment banning abortions, which would be unconstitutional. Ron Paul may be personally against abortion, but he would not extend that belief on others. It's the same with marijuana, just because libertarians favor the legalization of pot does not mean they are all going to go out and get high or sell it to minors. Also, hardcore libertarians don't even really believe in the power of the states..they would continually delegate power on a smaller scale to the point where communities and counties would determine their own laws.
