Consideration without LORs in?

My application, grades, transcripts, DAT scores are all in to AADSAS, and basically all of my additional letters of reference and additional materials have been sent out to each school

However, only one of my LORs from the professors have been submitted to AADSAS! Partly because the profs are busy etc, and we ran into some unexpected delays...

Anyway, do schools even look at/consider an application without all the LORs in?

so NO. the schools are completely bombed with applications. why would they take the time to look at an incomplete ap?

from my experience, the adcoms dont even see an ap till it is finished. there are loads of secretaries and office workers who compile and sort the applications as they come in. The incomplete apps never make it past this stage to the adcoms.

yea, no worries... its not your fault haha

they'll be in by the end of the month, but its gonna be soooo late by that point that I don't think I'll have much of a chance.... but you never know, have to wait and see i guess 😕

If I were you, I would contact those profs and request another letter first thing from returning from the break. Give them a deadline of April to ensure they are ready by May. In the mean time get the rest of your stuff together and apply in May next cycle. Good Luck!

Most schools wont even look at your application unless it is 100% complete.

Some schools do review your application before everything is complete, contrary to the popular belief. I received an interview invite before my recommendation letters were sent to AADSAS. Furthermore, the school didn't have the letters even by the date I was interviewed.

It is rare, but I think you have a chance 😀😉😎

I personally would still get your letters in ASAP. Esp if everything else is complete.

i was extended an interview to UoP without my file being complete. I was missing 1 of my science LOR.

I was offered an interview at Midwestern and Loma linda before my LORs were submitted. But, I'm convinced if my profs would have not taken MONTHS to do what I asked I would have got more interviews. I really don't think alot of the D schools will look at you without EVERYTHING being turned in, I think its just lucky mine played out that way.

Maryland told me my app was complete, interviewed me, and then on nov 28th told me I was on hold because of a missing letter (they wanted a chem rec and I had two biology). I had been under the impression I didn't need any other recommendations. I told them this, and they said to submit the recommendation asap to be considered further. Thankfully I was accepted to my #1 on dec 1st so I just withdrew my app from maryland.

My advice, get everything in asap. They may accidentally invite you for a invite or consider you before your recommendations are in, but ultimately it's going to hold you up somewhere.
