Well I'm a fourth year pharmacy student in a six year program (so I'm technically a senior), and I haven't been really passionate about my pharmacy curriculum so far, to be honest. I'm pretty sure I'd find psychology more interesting, so I was wondering if anybody had tips for a possible career change to a more counseling type setting or if that is even recommended. Does anybody know of how to get more involved with psychology via a pharmaceutical background besides simply drug therapy counseling? While I understand to do a pharm/psych type of combo would most likely mean dealing with drugs, I am more so interested in the non-pharm/counseling type of setting. Would an MPH in social and behavioral sciences after PharmD be a better option? I just need some tips, that'd be great.
Thanks!
