Hey everyone,

I just graduated from college and am looking for work and clinical opportunities to not only save for PA school but also to gain more pertinent clinical experience. I graduated with a good GPA and was active in many volunteer and extra curricular activities. I was just wondering if you all could give me some advice of things I could do this year to make my application stronger.

Thank you all!

More details would help a lot, but I would definitely try to get some PAID hands on clinical experience. You may want to consider some kind of certification program (CNA, MA, etc) if you have the time...but I am not sure of when you are trying to apply to PA school. Also, be sure to have volunteer experiences in both medical and non-medical areas. Not sure if you have shadowed any PAs yet, but that is also really important to do so you get a good idea of what PAs do, and if it is a good fit for you.

If you want to elaborate further on what kind of experience you do have I can give you some more advice!

Hope this helps!
