Hi everyone...

Of course we are all checking our application statuses and getting in touch with admissions offices at this point. I just wanted to throw out a question about this:

Does anyone think admissions offices keep record/track of emails you send to them and put them in your file?

Let's just say I've been quite...conscientious 😉 and don't want to seem crazy.

I wouldn't worry about the school's overall admissions office, but you might want to check the line between "checking in" and "harassment" with the department itself.

I've heard of schools doing that and read one that said that if you were being considered for acceptance all e-mails would be put in your file. Like Freudianslipper said, just don't harass them. You shouldn't really be needing to e-mail them more than once or twice (unless there was some screw-up somewhere).
