I applied to several schools back in June and there are a few that I haven't heard from since then. Most schools have sent me an automated email saying that they've received my application and that it is under review. However, there are still a couple of schools that I haven't heard anything from. I know that schools receive thousands of applications and it just takes time for them to review them all, but would it be acceptable to email or call admissions to just check in on the status of my application? I don't want to seem like a nuisance, but I also want to double check that the school has everything it needs from me in order to review my app. Thoughts?
