I am a psychology major and I have a couple of "research projects." Last semester I basically just proctored students taking a survey and had to put the results in SPSS (stat software). So far there was over 500 surveys recorded yet there is no end in sight.....also, I am doing another project with a group of about 7 people. This is a online survey we hope to close after a year and a half (if we are lucky).

There almost absolutely no chance of getting published and are non-science related. Should I continue with these projects, I am not really "learning" ?

It sounds like you aren't intellectually invested in your research so I think you should switch to a different project.

mmm why do something you're not invested in or something you aren't learning anything from. I would think that you can learn/conclude something from 500 people survey... why did you do it in the first place?

well the thing is that I only enter what students write down and I send it to my PI. And I started it because I wanted research exposure
