Reapplicant here. I already have just short of 100 hours at Shriner's Hopsital's for children, but through this time between interviews would love to gain some more volunteer. I think its a little too late to get on as a regular volunteer, but was thinking I can offer as a weekend hand to get another 10-20 hours. How do you go about this?

I've done some google searches, volunteer in the Phoenix area, but can't tell what is legit. Is this what you all have done? I'm just looking for a couple weekend activities maybe help out at a 5k, golf for charity tournament, or turkey feed type gig. Are you expected to get a letter from a supervisor? Should you update AACOMAS or just notify schools who offered you secondary/interview? Will it even make a difference this late in the game? I would just like something more recent to talk about at my interview.

It's good if you can talk about it with genuine enthusiasm so find something you really like.
