after interviewing in late september, i am now "Continued." I know this means that the admissions committee is going to look at my file again at a later time. but...

1 - do they look at the file again at the next meeting (~next month)? or at the end, after having looked at all applicants once (~april)?

2 - when they do look at my file again, am i being considered for the wait list ONLY? or is there still a chance (as small as it now is) that i might be accepted directly?

thanks everyone, and sorry for all the posts about pritzker 🙁

did you call to find out that you are continued?

I just called & am also continued.
The woman on the phone told me that we will be re-reviewed each month. At the end of April, they go through those who are still being continued to determine the waitlists.

So to answer your questions:
1) Yes - each month.
2) At this point, you're being considered for admission. In April, if still continued, you'll be assigned to a waitlist.

Do you "continued" people still have Yes/Yes on your status page? I want to know my status 🙁🙁

Hell, I'm still "No/No" and have been since August. I take it I shouldn't start pricing apartments in Chicago...

No, I have a "Yes/Unknown" - just changed today.

I will probably be withdrawing from Pritzker as I did not have a good experience there during my interview day and would not choose it over schools I have been accepted at.

Good call. I would also take UCI over Pritzker any day. Too bad I'm not a Cali resident... 🙁

Swtiepie, I'm curious what went badly on your interview day -- mine couldn't have been better! So organized and welcoming, and the pizza for lunch was incredible. Did you have a mean interviewer?

Basically, I didn't meet any happy students (including I ran into someone who went from my high school who flat out told me she wasnt happy & wanted to come home), we basically didn't get a tour b/c all the doors were locked (to lecture halls/labs/etc) so we just saw the lobbies of the hospitals), 1 interview was great, the student interview was strange (she was overly nitpicky about random details - kind of strange) and the admissions staff member attacked me for having improved my MCAT so much (To the effect of "No one does that. No one improves that much. It's not possible. I mean, 2 points - great, 3 - outstanding, X - that's just unheard of. I mean, I've certainly never seen it." - and this was NOT said with an understanding or congratulatory tone)

Pritzker keeps saying it's students are so happy - but I didn't seem to meet one happy student there. And fine if you want to ask about my MCAT score - it's fair game, I know, and I did drastically improve - but, sheesh, don't attack me for improving myself as an applicant!!!

It was the one school I've interviewed at that made me feel completely unwelcome.
