anyone done cases (especially pediatric) with continuous blood glucose monitors running while patient is in the OR? I picture Mom trying to call into the OR to let us know that blood sugar is too high at 150.

anyone done cases (especially pediatric) with continuous blood glucose monitors running while patient is in the OR? I picture Mom trying to call into the OR to let us know that blood sugar is too high at 150.

I always just bring the continuous monitor into the OR and make sure they calibrated it pre-op so I know it's going to be accurate. I like having it immediately available.
