review all contracts with an attorney

second the attorney comment. in the contract, may sure there is an opt out clause 60 or 90 days after starting, and say no to restricted covenants if possible. They're variably enforceable.

I would say not, the contract needs to have conditions for termination of the contract in it. I had two contracts and looked them over myself and made changes. most of them are pretty much along the same lines, you can recognize if there's something sketchy. most employers (except corporate) will be willing to make changes. I would have an attorney look it over if I'm buying in, though.
