Schedule II Script - What can be changed?
when a pharmacist wishes to clarify a controlled II, III or IV script, the following apply:

Without a consult, a pharmacist can add or change address.
With consult, a pharmacist can change dosage form, strength, quantity, and directions.
A pharmacist can never change a patient name, drug, or physician signature.

A lot has happened in the eight years since that post. Is this still up-to-date?

In some states, you can't change anything and would require a new prescription from the prescriber
