Converting OMSAS GPA into AMCAS

Hello everyone,

I recently recieved an email back from AMCAS which was absolutely no help. They basically said they would tell me my AMCAS GPA when I submit my transcripts and marks.

Does anyone know how to convert my OMSAS GPA into the AMCAS GPA? I attended UWO and UofT for my undergrad years and have no problem calculating my Ontario Medical School GPA, but am puzzled when it comes to American.

What is the lowest mark considered for a 4.0 in AMCAS? The tables given at AMCAS website are useless at best. Can anyone help me out?
